Let the Countdown Begin!

And so it does...I just bought my plane ticket to come back home. I will be arriving in Milwaukee at 3:55pm on December 16th and leaving back for Berlin on the 1st of January. I'm really excited about this, I'm finally coming home

And the job: Zeha Berlin has already signed and dated everything. I will be bringing the papers and contract to the foreiner's office on Monday to have them processed. From what I have heard, the processing will take anywhere between 2 and 4 weeks (most likely 4 because of the holidays). I won't be officially starting till after Christmas but we have already planned that I will start my training in December. This all sounds really great but I am not yet quite in the clear, the foreigner's office still has to approve this postion and they have been known to turn some down...so I won't be celebrating just yet. But the contracts have been signed and I suppose that is the most important so far.

I feel all of this is good news, both the flight and the signed contract. Things are finally rolling and in a direction that pleases me. Between waiting to finally come home, starting the training and waiting for the foreiner's office to process everything, I will be busy looking for an apartment in the heart of Berlin. I have a feeling the next two months will be a whirlwind of changes but I'm ready for it. So, let the countdown begin...18 days and counting!
